FBR NOTICES FOR ATTACHMENT OF BANK ACCOUNT UNDER SECTION 48 OF THE SALES TAX ACT 1990 READ WITH RULE 71(2)(d) CHAPTER XI OF THE SALES TAX RULES 2006, FOR RECOVERY OF GOVERNMENT DUES

Dear Members,

With reference to subject matter FBR has issued notices to industries / exporters under section 48 of Sales Tax Act 1990 and Rules thereof for recovery of government dues / short collection whereby the FBR has noticed to attach bank account(s) / freeze bank account(s) of industries / exporters to recover government dues. PHMA and Pakistan Apparel Forum (PAF) have strongly condemn such unethical, harsh and anti export move of FBR and have already taken up the matter with all concerned high-ups at Islamabad.

Those members who have received subject notice(s), if any, may please immediately contact PHMA and provide relevant information enabling the management of PHMA to take the matter with concerned to safeguard the genuine rights and businesses of its valued members.

Please treat this notice as most urgent and priority matter and contact PHMA on immediate basis.
