SBP CIRCULAR ON PROCEDURE OF DRAWBACK OF TAXES ORDER, 2017-18

Members are informed that to further facilitate member exporters and simplify procedure PHMA Chief Coordinator, Mr. Muhammad Jawed Bilwani along with CAPTA Chairman, Mr. Zubair Motiwala called on  Governor, SBP, Mr. Tariq Bajwa on 22^nd December, 2017 and proposed that:

1.    The Central Hub when submit the claims to SBP will also inform the Exporters;

2.    In case of any discrepancy/ objection, the SBP will inform the Central Hub on same day to immediately remove objections which will be communicated onwards to the Authorized Dealers with information copy to the exporters.

Consequently SBP BSC (Bank) Foreign Exchange Operations Department has issued Circular No. FEOD/ 047 / Drawback of Taxes dated January 01, 2018 (copy attached) directed to the Head/Principal Offices of Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange to ensure meticulous compliance.
