NEW EXPORT FACILITATION SCHEME 2021 (SRO 957(I)/2021 DATED 30-JULY-2021)

The Federal Board of Revenue has approved new Export Facilitation Scheme 2021and enforced vide SRO 957(I)/2021 dated 30th July 2021 with a view to maximize facilitation to exporters. This new scheme will be effective from 14th August, 2021, however, the existing schemes under SRO450(I)/2001 Chapter XV Manufacturing Bond, DTRE and SRO327(I)/2008 Export Oriented Units shall also remain operative for a period of two years from the date of issuance of these new Rules under SRO 957(I)/2021 dated 30th July 2021 Chapter XL Export Facilitation Scheme 2021” and thereafter only New Scheme will be operative. Pertinent to mention that an exporter user cannot avail both scheme simultaneously. Comprehensive self-explanatory details are available for perusal of members in attached SRO.

According to the new scheme, all existing exporters (users) can shift to said new scheme at any time. Subsequently, PHMA advises all the Member exporters to avail and apply for new Export Facilitation Scheme 2021.

PHMA in consultation with concerned Customs authority has planned to hold a Webinar on “New Export Facilitation Scheme 2021” soon. In this connection, members are also requested to please send your questions and queries in writing at email secretary.general@phmaonline.com by Tuesday, 17th August 2021.
