Delay in receipt of Custom Rebate in PSW

PHMA has received complaints about inordinate delays in release of payment of Custom Rebates since the migration of system from previous WeBOC to Pakistan Single Window (PSW). In WeBOC the customs rebate payment was released to exporters immediately on receipt of export proceeds. However, in PSW after feeding of BCA by the banks the status of GD’s  were not updated by the system in PSW , as result , even after lapse of a month time from the date of receipt of export proceeds the Customs Rebates have not been released to exporters.

Those members exporters who have received their export proceeds but their Custom Rebates have been delayed in PSW and not released may immediately inform mentioning details of their export proceeds as per enclosed format with separate sheet of each negotiable bank so that matter shall be taken up with FBR collectively.

Further members are advised to also ask their respective banks to send BCA and settlement to PSW for the purpose in order to release their rebates.
