Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Pakistan and Azerbaijan

 Refer the subject, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan wants to inform that the negotiations for a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Pakistan and Azerbaijan are currently underway. The purpose of the proposed PTA is to obtain market access and enhance regional trade.

The Ministry of Commerce has prepared a tentative Request List consisting of a list of goods (list attached) for which market access will be secured. In order to refine the list, an online Consultative session for Textiles, Leather goods, Sports goods will be held on Monday, 19th December 2022 at 11 AM. 

Valued Members are requested to ensure maximum participation in the consultative sessions.

A representative of the Ministry of Commerce will brief participants about the PTA during the session.
