SUBJECT: SAFEGUARD MEASURES BY TURKEY ON FABRICS AND GARMENTS.
The Prime Ministry, Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade of Turkey vide its declaration in official gazette has announced interim measure imposition of additional safeguard duties on majority of fabrics and garments.
2. As per the procedure the other side effected by the decision i.e. importers, exporters and other stakeholders (associations etc.) are given a period of 20 days deadline (i.e. 2nd February, 2011) to send “Related Party Application Form” (attached). The address is as follows:

3. After receipt of the application from the interested parties the investigations will begin and both sides will be given an opportunity of hearing before taking a final decision.
4. National Tariff Commission has taken up the lead in this matter. All interested parties are advised to get themselves registered before the deadline.
