  SUBJECT:  OUTSTANDING REBATE CASES – MANUAL AND CARE.

A circular was sent to all members on 31st October 2009 requesting details of their outstanding rebate cases. The same were compiled an forwarded to the concerned departments and were also discussed in a meeting with Member Customs, Mr. Munir Qureshi; Collector of Customs (Exports), Mr. Ghulam Ahmed and Collector of Customs (PACCS), Mr. Nisar Muhammad.

So far, many of the above cases have been resolved, but still many are pending due to incomplete details sent by members. In order to resolve such cases, the custom officials have once more directed that our Members submit their claims as per revised format given below (separately for CARE and separately for MANUAL) and once this is received the payments against the Outstanding Rebate Cases – MANUAL and CARE will be settled soon.

In view of the above all our members are advised to once again resubmit their details on Outstanding Rebate Cases as per the revised format given below to the Association latest by 31st January 2010 positively to enable the Association to pursue for speedy payments:
