HOLDING A WORKSHOP (NOVEMBER, 5-7) TO INTRODUCE JIS (JAPAN INDUSTRIAL STANDARD) FOR TEXTILE PRODUCTS BY QTEC (JAPAN TEXTILE TEST CENTER) IN KARACHI

I had a meeting at PHMA House, Karachi on 9^th October, 2012 with Mr. Yuji Aoki, JICA Expert on the subject when he apprised me on the intricacies relating to our exports from Pakistan to Japan of Garments and Bedwear and he stressed upon the fact that it was important that the procedure of JIS (Japan Industrial Standard) for textile products by QTEC (Japan Textile Test Center) is well understood by our member exporters.

Also attached herewith is TDAP-JICA Invitation for the Workshop and Participation Form of the Workshop giving therein the schedule as well as JICA’s Presentation on Textile Industry Market Situation in Japan (plus bedwear market).
