Excellent Opportunity to Expand Business in USA

 

The PHMA has established Sales cum Display Center (PHMAUSA) in the prime location of garment district in Manhattan New York USA. The area is hub of Textiles and Fashion related activities and offers tremendous opportunities for enhancing exports, increasing market share and exports of Value added products besides helping to restore confidence among the importers who are reluctant to visit Pakistan because of deteriorating law & order situation.

 

Due to the changing market trends and concerns over social / environmental issues in countries such as China etc., therefore the importers are looking for alternate supply sources and Pakistan can benefit and fill this gap.

 

The Board of Director of Pakistan Hosiery & Textiles Manufacturers Inc USA, by virtue of meeting of Managing Director, Mr. Junaid Makda with D.G TDAP and Commercial Counselor, Pakistan Consulate in New York held in PHMA New York Office, have decided that for the sustainability and boosting of all textile exports, facilities shall also be offered to all Value Added Textile Exporters intending to expand their business in USA at an Annual Membership Fee as decided by the Board.

 

In order to facilitate and help the exporters in their marketing efforts, PHMA is offering the following to Textiles exporters. Due to limited space, the membership will be confined to 50 only and will be offered on FCFS basis, subject to approval by PHMA.

 

a)   Virtual Office:  PHMAUSA will be the virtual office of the members and they would be facilitated with:

 

·         Meeting Room at the PHMAUSA which members can use for B2B business

·         Secretarial Support 

·         Telephone / Fax and Internet facilities

·         Space for display of Samples during the visit / meetings with the buyers

·         Hostess (On request and on Extra charges)

·         Receptions for the buyers ( On request and on Extra Charges )

 

b)   Members’ Data Base: PHMAUSA will maintain data bank of all the members and their profiles .The information about members will be disseminated among the USA importers. In addition, a Booklet/ brochure containing the product pictures and profiles of the members would be printed. Each member will be provided one page inside the booklet. The members wishing to use back cover would be required to pay extra as advertisement cost.

 

c)   The enquires generated or received by the Center would be sent directly to the members.

 

d)   The booklet / Brochure would be distributed at the major Textiles Exhibitions in which Pakistan would participate. 

 

e)   Facilitation: PHMAUSA would facilitate and help the members in:

 

·         Organizing the Exhibitions / Trade Fairs in USA.

·         Collecting and presenting samples of the member to the buyers. Strict confidentiality about buyers and members rights would be religiously maintained.  

·         Hotel bookings and other Travel arrangements.

·         Company registration and meetings with Attorneys for L1 Visa etc.

·         Logistics and warehousing

·         Dispute Settlement by introducing to settlement companies / attorneys

·         Factor financing

·         Credit  worthiness (Extra Charges may apply)

 

Members would have to abide by the Building Rules and U.S. Laws.

 

Interested Exporters are requested to send their applications along with Pay Order equivalent to US $300/- in favor of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association at the soonest.
