No. PHMA/Cir-061/2013 Dated: 15th April, 2013 TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION To all concerned PHMA Members – Customs Rebate Consequent to the meeting chaired by Honourable Federal Tax Ombudsman, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Suddle was held on 25th April, 2013 at the FTO Office Karachi wherein Collector Customs PACCs and Collector Customs (Export) were present as well as Exporters’ delegation led by Mr. M. Jawed Bilwani, Central Chairman, Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association and Chairman, Pakistan Apparel Forum, it was informed by Collector Customs PACCs that that a list of 1401 exporters’ (approx. 4000) claims of pending Customs Rebate are ready for payment and also given on the FBR website, but as bank details: Name of Bank, Branch, Account Number etc. were not available. Therefore exporters are directed to visit the FBR website http://download1.fbr.gov.pk/Docs/2013329163581444Claimantswithmissinginformation.pdf and after confirmation of their names in this list of 1401 exporters, they could approach Collector Customs PACCs Office with their bank account details for issue of cheques against their claims. Accordingly exporters having pending Customs Rebate Claims may visit the website and after confirmation of their names in this list, they are advised to approach Collector Customs PACCs Office with their bank account details for issue of cheques against their claims.
