SUBJECT:       SEVERE CRISIS AND NON-AVAILABILITY OF COTTON YARN TO THE VALUE ADDED TEXTILE EXPORTING UNITS.

Our valued members are aware that the Pakistan Apparel Forum is making hectic efforts for easy availability of cotton yarn to all our members. The Government has asked us to provide ample proof of non-availability of Yarn and in our further endeavours towards this and formation of our strategy and mission to proceed further, we request all our valued members who are facing great difficulties in getting cotton yarn and whose production and exports have been affected owing to the above, to please fill up month wise details as per format given below send to the association at the soonest:

Some of our members have also informed us that because of non-availability of Cotton Yarn, they are unable to negotiate any deals with their foreign buyers.

Further, in case, exporters have been compelled to close down any of their departments or in case they are aware of any members’ units closing down they are requested to furnish details of the same to the Association.

Your prompt action and reply on the above will be greatly appreciated.
