PROBLEMS BEING FACED IN OBTAINING / USING THE FACILITIES OF (1) DTRE SCHEME, (2) CUSTOMS MANUFACTURING BOND AND (3) TEMPORARY IMPORTATION OF GOODS FOR SUBSEQUENT EXPORTATION

We are pleased to inform all our valued members that the undersigned along with Mr. Muhammad Jawed Bilwani and Mr. Saleem Parekh had a meeting with the Collector, MCC of Exports, Mr. Dr. Saifuddin Junejo at his office on 22^nd February, 2016 wherein the Customs Officials have informed that the Exporters are not taking advantage of the facility of DTRE Scheme, Customs Manufacturing Bond License under S.R.O.450(I)2001 Chapter 15 Section 343(I) and temporary importation of goods for subsequent exportation under S.R.O. 492(I)/2009.

In view of the above, members are advised to inform the Association, the problems and hurdles they face in obtaining / using the above facilities: (1) DTRE Scheme (2) Customs Manufacturing Bond License and (13) temporary importation of goods for subsequent exportation latest by 29^th February, 2016 to take up the matter with Customs Officials in the forthcoming meeting to be held in the first week of March, 2016 for making the process easier and less cumbersome.
