PAKISTAN?THAILAND FREE TRADE AGREEMENT (FTA)

  

Government of Pakistan is in the process of finalizing FTA with Thailand. Ministry of Textile Industry has sought input from stakeholders on contents of the FTA as per attached list on Textiles.

 It is therefore requested that comments and views may be shared on the following: 

 

1.   Thailand has shared preliminary priority list which is enclosed for your comments and views that whether we should allow them for rapid tariff reduction or not. (sheet 2)

 

2.   Please share product categories which are of your interest in Thai market (8 digit HS code wise)- (sheet 1). You can add and/or delete.

 

3.   Sensitive List (8 digit HS code wise) indicating that these products may not be included for tariff reduction for Thailand?s exporters (Sheet No.3).

 

Members are requested to please send comments by 5th November 2016 for onward submission to the Ministry. If no comments are received, it will be assumed the contents of FTA are acceptable.
