PHMA REQUEST TO FTO FOR ZERO-RATING OF SALES TAX ON UTILITIES (GAS & ELECTRICITY BILLS)  WITHOUT SURVEY ON THE BASIS OF INDUSTRIAL UNITS REGISTERED WITH MINTEX AS EXPORT INDUSTRY

 

All those members, whose utilities (Gas & Electricity Bills) are not zero rated or their applications for zero-rating of sales tax on utilities are pending and SSGC sent them billing of Rs780/- instead of Rs600/- fixed for Textile Export Sector recently by the Government, are requested to kindly send following details for the zero-rating of sales tax on utility bills - Gas & Electricity to PHMA as per below format along with copies of Utility Bills, NTN & STRN Certificates and MINTEX Registration Certificate latest by Saturday, 24th November, 2018  so that the Association may take up the matter with Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) to avoid the FBR service and the facility of Zero Rating on Utilities may provided without survey and directly by FTO Order based on the fact that the Industrial Units is registered with MINTEX as Export Industry.
