SUBJECT:   DRAWBACK OF LOCAL TEXAS AND LEVIES.

 

Mintex in their recent communication has observed that

?we only require HS Code wise but please put common description don?t leave the field empty and be sure that the all those products come under that particular code. It has been noticed that many of your members are not using correct HS Codes and one has to get careful about it from now on. Freight forwarders and agents are not always right. It is also the duty of associations to clarify about the HS codes at least when they are verifying the drawback claims.

 

In case of outsourcing, e.g. garments, if a firm is outsourcing CMT or stitching partially. It export 1000 dozens of shirts, got CMT from other company of 500 dozens, it will show 50%.?

Members are therefore requested to be more careful in mentioning H.S. Codes in G.D. Forms & future to comply with MINTEX request.
