Govt. introduced lower power tariff for industrial sector

in Winter season (Nov 2019 to Feb 2020) on their additional power consumption

 

The Government has approved a package for electricity supply at a flat rate Rs11.97 to the industrial sector in winter season (Nov 2019 to Feb 2020) on their additional power consumption compared to the same month of the previous year to make Pakistan competitive in the international market and boost exports.

 

An example, a consumer had utilized 800 units in the corresponding month of last year and consumer utilized 1200 units this year, then 1000 units would be charged as per the normal rate while the additional 400 units would be charged at Rs11.97 per unit. A Flyer of Power Division is also attached.

 

DISCOs / Power Supply Companies will bill the consumers automatically as per approved package.

 

Members are advised to take maximum advantage from the package.
