Subject:          Production of Goods a per Laid Down Product Standards and Technical Regulations for Domestics and Foreign Markets.

The Ministry of Commerce has initiated a pilot project which will prepare the domestic industry for production of standardized and quality goods as per standards and regulations prescribed under SPS ? Sanitary and Phytosanitry measures, TBT ? Technical barriers to trade, WTO Agreements etc, main features of which are mentioned in the enclosed letter.

In this regard, MOC has identified kidswear, among other products, for which we need to send them data.

For the above purpose, all those members who are exporters of kidswear are requested to emails us their company?s basic information / contact details, and information regarding requisite standards, product specifications, and technical regulations or any other compliance requirements, e.g. social, environmental etc to be complied with by the sector.
