IMPLEMENTATION OF DECISION OF FTO ON PHMA APPEAL FOR COGNIZANCE AGAINST UNJUSTIFIED AND INORDINATE DELAYS IN REFUND OF CLAIMS OF SALES TAX ON SERVICES OF TEXTILE EXPORTERS

 

PHMA members are kindly informed that with the best effort of the Association the Federal Tax Ombudsman had taken cognizance of unjustified and inordinate delays in refund of claims of Sales Tax on Services of Textile Exporters in Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) since its establishment under Sales Tax on Service Act 2011. In this connection FTO has now issued Implementation Order No. 1597/KHI/ST/2023/IMP dated 12-09-2023 and subsequent instructions by FBR Second Secretary (ST-L&P) to all concerned Chief Commissioners Inland Revenue to process the pending deferred Refund Claims on Services, which are self-explanatory and forwarded for your information and perusal in this regard.
