Dear Members,

The Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA) is pleased to inform its members about the Better Governance & Business Environment (BG&BE) Green Accelerator Programme & Challenge Fund for SMEs, a joint initiative financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ Pakistan. The programme aims to enhance the competitiveness of Pakistan's industry through green, inclusive, and sustainable growth.

The programme is open to SMEs with an annual turnover of less than PKR 2 billion operating in the following sectors:

• Textile & Apparel
• Leather & Tannery Products
• Sports Goods
• Surgical & Medical Equipment
• Rice Processing

Special consideration will be given to enterprises that are women-led or employ women.

Support Available

Participating SMEs will receive:

• Green Accelerator Programme support
• Investment Readiness Support
• Access to the Challenge Fund offering Matching Grants ranging from Euro 30,000 to Euro 100,000 for eligible green investment projects.
