DAMAGES TO GOODS AND CARTONS OF EXPORTERS AT THE TERMINALS/ YARDS DURING EXAMINATION

We are attaching herewith copy of PHMA Letter dated 14th. April, 2014 on the subject addressed to DG Ports and Shipping Wing, Karachi and reply thereof of the Karachi Port Trust (Traffic Dept) which is self explanatory and from which you will find that they are directing the Private Terminals for all precautionary, safety/security and other measures to be ensured during examination of goods to prevent the damages/shortages etc including all other measures during Customs/ANF examination enumerated in their attached letter. KPT has also addressed letter to TDAP in this regard.
