TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION

IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS REQUIRED TO BE TAKEN TO AVOID FIRE HAZARD IN THE FACTORIES DURING THE WINTER SEASON.

In view of fire hazard during the winter months, it is imperative that all factories take necessary precautions to make efforts to save their factories in advance from this danger. Already 13 factories have faced fire incidents in their factories in the last 40 days during this winter season.

In view of the above and the brutal fact that the FIRE Stations in Karachi are most ill-equipped, in pathetic condition and unable to effectively carry out their job of firefighting, we request all our valued members to ensure the following for the safety of their factories:

1. Keeps their Fire System including Fire Fighting Equipment in tip top shape and complete working order.

2. Hold Fire Fighting Drill and training of their staff for such eventualities.

3. Ensure complete cleaning of the entire factory area of cotton lint and dry waste with vacuum cleaner.

The Association is confident that in their own interests of safety and security of their factory and staff, our valued members will positively follow the above procedure with immediate effect.
