DRAWBACK OF LOCAL TAXES AND LEVIES 2014-15

To be allowed on 10% increase in exports during 2013-14 over previous year 2012-13

State Bank of Pakistan has issued circular No.9 of 2014 dated 19.11.2014 (attached) in term of Ministry of Textile Industry?s Notification No. 1(41)TID/14-RDA dated October 22 2014 (attached) relating to Drawback Of Local Taxes and Levies 2014-15 on eligible product lines, eligibility criteria and procedure for filing claims etc. specified in the attached MINTEX Notification

Subject scheme is allowing 4% on Garments Category, 2% on Made up category and 1% on Processed fabric category on enhanced exports during 2013-14 over the previous year i.e. 2012-13 (subject to minimum of 10% increase over previous year).

Concerned Members are advised to prepare their applications on Annexure-II of Notification and get Bank verification on Appendix-I. Last date of submission of applications is 31^st March 2015.

In view of the fact that the above exercise involves extensive work, immediate action by members is required.
