TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION

 

 

SUBJECT:   ?Drawback of Local Taxed & Levies Scheme ? Amendments?

 

 

We are sending you herewith copy of letter dated 24^th Feb 2010 of Mintex on the subject which is self explanatory.

 

All members are requested to note Para 1 that ?provision of the said notification are applicable only to the shipments made after the issuance of the same i.e after 15.02.2010?.

 

And in Para 2 that ? a one time extension of time limit has been granted for filing of Drawback Claims. All the exporters bearing Permanent or Provisional (whether valid or expired ) Registration Certificate may submit Drawback Claims till 31.03.2010 in respect of shipment made after 01-09-2009. State Bank of Pakistan may admit all such claims if they are otherwise in order, however payment will be made to any claimant unless it presents the permanent Registration Certificate.
